Greetings to everyone! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year! We were very busy over Christmas. During the week of Christmas we spent much of our time at Grandma & Grandpa Breuer's and Nana and Papa Ceynowa's. We enjoyed visits with Jenaya's many Breuer cousins and lots of time rocking with Nana and Papa Ceynowa. We were happy that we made it down to Iowa for the Breuer family Christmas gathering on Christmas Eve night!
On Christmas Eve, Jenaya was one month old! Grandpa Ceynowa had us come into the clinic to weigh Jenaya and she was 9lbs 10ozs! So, she gained about 2 pounds in two weeks!
We also had a very special visit from Jenaya's Great Grandma & Great Grandpa Alder (my mom's parents) and her Great Aunt Diane & Great Uncle Wayne (they drove from the Black Hills). Also, from the Twin Cities, Great Uncle Mark & Great Aunt Diane and cousin Rob came to meet Jenaya. We were so thankful the weather held out so that everyone could make the trip!
Jenaya has also had many other visitors over the holidays including good friends from college and high school!
We celebrated the end of a busy 2008 and the welcoming of 2009 with our great friends Katie & Russ and their family and Cara W. Very much to our surprise we stayed out past 1:00 am with Jenaya!
Soon Dan's Christmas break will be over...And, I am planning to return to work on January 15th. I'm not too sure yet if I'm ready to go back, but I'm taking great comfort in the fact that Jenaya will be spending her days with Nana Carol and Grandma Breuer!
