A summer can't be complete without a trip to the Black Hills. Tim & Carol rented a different cabin in the same area near Pactola Lake that we have stayed at for the past few years. We have established our regular events: Wall Drug (Ali and Jenaya enjoying the famous coffee and donuts), Mount Rushmore and Lake Sylvan (Jenaya on the trail steps). This year we went to Bear Country. The weather was spectacular this year with lows in the upper 40's and highs in the mid 70's!
Jenaya loved playing with her great uncle Wayne and Diane for two evenings and got to entertain her Adler great-grandparents on Friday.
We have such a treasure in having the Black Hills relatively close, and it's nice to have family there to complete the experience.
